My aim here is to post newsy and informative (and sometimes analytical) bits that will interest those interested in the state of the schools in Maine and elsewhere. I’ll sometimes veer off into issues that, while not directly school-related, nevertheless affect school-age populations.

And if you visit regularly you’ll also have to endure photos of breads and cakes, and other baked goods, and the “Now Reading” and “Now Listening” sections (to the right). As well, check out the extensive lists of links in the sidebar.

This site has been piloted for about a month, but not all the details have been worked out yet.
